Title says all. A small number of collectors e.g. on AG Playthings have complained about latex allergy with Luciana's space suit. AG has been informed about this, and considering that some children may be allergic to said material, they may revise the suit or at least issue a warning.
This is Pamela. My user name is Foxesden bcuz my last name is Fox.
I have 4 AG dolls. My 1st one being Samantha about 15 yrs ago from my Daddy, then a couple friends helped me get her friend Nellie before Christmas Last year. My Hubby surprised me with Caroline on Christmas this last year. I have since added a JLY doll from Ebay. Her Name is now Ariana Faith. She arrived with a Silver eye and had to be sent to the Doll Hospital right away. She is doing much better!
Decided to share this as I had some success with doing this. Of course you need a legally-obtained version, but since this one's abandonware, you could Google a 2CD ISO of it somewhere.
Make a DATA folder in your game's directory. This is where you'll stuff the assets for the game to run. They can be found on the data folders in disk 1 and disk 2.
Go to your AmGirls Premiere directory, and then edit cdlink.ini; change the drive letter to C:\ or whatever drive you stuffed the game on:
Fire up regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TLC\AmGirls2. Now edit the datapath entry, and change its value to the folder where you installed the game:
Last but not the least, copy the .ID files from Disk 1 and Disk 2, to the root of the drive you installed the game:
If you ended up with a stage after choosing a character, then congratulations!
Has anyone had any experience with playing games published and/or produced by American Girl? The AG Premiere game was epic lulz imo, even though it was a bit of a pain to get it to work on a typical modern PC, since it was made with Win 3.x/95 in mind.
Before I had my shop and used Lemonhead 103 for the name, my email address was lemonheadlvr. For lemonhead lover add while everyone believes its the candy, which I do like, it is actually for a 90's alt rock band The Lemonheads.
I loved Ag since HS when Dad's Goddaughter was small and got her first doll. However I got to look wistfully at the catalogs, as by that age I was asking for musical instruments and they were not going to shell out for a trombone and a doll. So i hoped I would have a daughter, no luck. I was blessed with two nieces that are into AG and since the older of the two has some handicaps, they are the only dolls she really plays with. She can not change them without help though, and her babies always need clothes. I got a knock off doll first before learning she was much skinnier, in hopes of sewing for her babies. Then I got a Samantha and thought I was done, lol... no. Samantha became a boy, as my then 5 yo announced he wanted a boy one. In trying to replace my Samantha on ebay I bid on one and an Elizabeth and won both. All were PM. Then I found a 22 at goodwill for 4.00. I got a Bitty from Ebay and Saige, mt only brand new to me doll. I also adore Monster High, my 11 yo son is a fan as well as a fan of Kit.
It has come to my attention that certain users are plagued with warnings that this site is potentially unsafe. It might have come from the tools that I host on my other site, but rest assured that this board isn't infected in any way possible. McAfee's SiteAdvisor is notorious for giving out false positives or negatives, and so far most other security firms give a green or safe rating on the site and its subdomains.
I'm sure some of you guys know me already, but let me introduce myself. My name's Margaret Mildred Kittredge, but you can always call me Kit. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, back during the time when my old man had a car dealership. Things were alright until the Depression when we had to close shop and start a boarding house, but we got over it.
I worked for the Cincinnati Register as a war correspondent - things were fast-paced back then, and it was quite a relief when we heard about the war in Europe coming to an end in '45. Stirling and I married shortly after the war, and we had three kids.
I guess that's all for now - just feel free to contact me in case of problems, K?
